PRONOVA PARTNERS WITH HHTC TO ENHANCE SC360 WITH SUPERCONDUCTING CYCLOTRON
June 6, 2024, Maryville, Tennessee, USA

ProNova Solutions, LLC, (ProNova) a US medical device manufacturer committed to revolutionizing oncology solutions with the most advanced proton therapy system in the world, and Holistic Health Technology Corporation (HHTC), a private equity firm with a focus on cancer related innovations announce today that they have entered into a strategic partnership, pursuant to which ProNova Solutions will develop and launch the Superconducting Isochronous Cyclotron (SCIC) for commercialization as an integral component of the SC360 proton therapy system.

Sharing a vision to make proton therapy more accessible to cancer patients worldwide, HHTC and ProNova are collaborating to develop an ultra-compact, high-performance, and economically efficient proton therapy system.  This partnership leverages ProNova’s innovative proton treatment technology and HHTC’s expertise in finance and supply chain management for precision machining and semiconductor manufacturing.

"HHTC and ProNova are aligned in their mission and purpose to enhance the health and welfare of cancer patients," said Alex Lin, Founder and CEO of HHTC. "We are thrilled to collaborate with ProNova. By combining our strengths in R&D, capital resources, affiliated proton treatment centers and high-tech industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and precision machining, we aim to support ProNova in their mission to expand proton therapy use around the world."

The ProNova SC360 has successfully treated over 2,000 patients with three treatment rooms at the Tennessee Oncology Proton Center in Nashville, TN, USA. The SCIC will be integrated into the FDA-approved and clinically demonstrated ProNova SC360 to provide up to a 1000 nA high-current beam, that supports rapid hypofractionation, breath-hold treatments and clinical FLASH deliveries.  The patient-centric SC360 will offer an improved and distinguished comprehensive proton therapy system, infused with the latest AI-empowered capabilities, including the SCIC cyclotron and a 360o superconducting gantry capable of Arc therapy.  “The SC360 is a major breakthrough in our fight against cancer and out-delivers any other proton therapy system in the world, with precise, on-demand dosage treatments, less collateral damage, higher operational efficiencies and clinical value,” says Moataz Karmalawy, President, and CEO of ProNova Solutions.
